
Mackerel
Mackerel is a fast-swimming fish, which are prevalent in the Northeast Atlantic from North Africa to the Barents Sea and west over the Norwegian Sea to Iceland. In summer and autumn mackerel swim in shoals along the coast and out in the Skagerrak, North Sea and Norwegian Sea. Mackerel spawn in this area in early summer.
